Paint and Sip with Party in a Paint Box

It's been a long time since I've unleashed my inner creative child on canvas, so having been sent the kit from Party in a Paint Box (and having wanted to do this for so long), I was ecstatic.

Party in a Paint Box is an at-home paint and sip session that is ideal for parties, team building, and date nights. The idea is to unleash your inner creativity, while also enjoying drinks and snacks.

A full kit of blank canvasses, paints, pencils, and step-by-step instructions are sent to you. There's also a pre-recorded video that guides you through your artwork. It's easy to follow and perfect for a night in.

I'd been keen to try a painting workshop, but with a toddler, it's difficult to get out to them. Party in a Paint Box allows me to stay home with my daughter, but not miss out on the painting action.

I decided to have a girls' night in for my first foray into paint and sip. I poured some non-alcoholic cocktails, made home-made pizza, and got going. While my gal pals had fun, my teething one year old needed comforting, so I didn't finish my artwork in that session. In fact, I'd barely even got started.

The good thing about the pre-recorded session is that I could resume painting at any time. So, having had a spare canvas, my husband and I decided to do a paint and sip date night.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm absolutely sold on the idea of sip and paint nights. I've missed painting and doing art so much, and with the growing amount of images you can paint at Party in a Paint Box, it's the perfect way to get back into it.

I highly recommend this for a fun night in. Simply put down an old table cloth, arm yourself with some snacks and drinks, and get painting.
